Hi Jon, I would like to do what you said but the problem only occurs when I run the function LoadStartupScreen. Whatever data I put in that function will result in the characters all appearing correctly except the first one, which will be random. Any ideas? I am using version 2.2 of the device. Curr...

Characters appearing when they shouldn't
Hello I am using an LK 162. It works fine, for example clearing the screen, writing characters etc. There is just one problem. When I first turn it on (it is connected to a PCB with an on/off switch) I occasionally get extra characters on the screen that I did not write. This causes unpredictable op...

Bulk buy and hardware issue
Hello I am prototyping the LK162-12 board at the moment. If I decide to use it in my product I am looking at a few thousand units per year. Is it possible to buy these units already jumpered to accept RS232 TTL levels - to save me having to individually solder each LCD? Also, do you recommend buying...

Hi Raquel Thanks for the reply. 1. I'm using the 4 pin connector. 2. No but I do not have the CD. 3. No but I cannot see this in the manual?? Perhaps I do not have the latest manual.. (the server won't let me download it). If I close the two 'R' jumpers should I have the 'I' ones open or closed? Tha...

LK162 TTL datasheet not clear
Hello I just purchased an LK162-12. The revision, annoyingly, is 2.2 but besides the point of this post.. I am connecting it to a microcontroller with RS232TTL protocol. So, I soldered jumpers 2&3 closed and opened jumpers 1&4 as the datasheet says (section 2.1.6). When I power the screen up...
