Troy,
Thank you for your advice- I used mogd.exe to reload the display. It seems that rewriting the fonts worked perfectly. Some stray command during my bit bashing must have changed an internal setting!
As always, thanks for the awesome products and even better support.

GLK12232 Vertical text
During development, my GLK12232 started displaying the text in two vertical columns rather than in rows. I am using I2C. I am wondering if perhaps a stray string of bits triggered this mode. Any way to reset the device or solve this? The first column is directly in the middle of the screen and the ...

Thank you for your reply Troy. The backlight turns on but it doesn't respond to my I2C input. An identical screen (both have appropriate jumpers) works fine. I reset the default screen to be blank so nothing shows up on start up anyways. Is there any way I could possibly track it down, or send it in ...

Reverse Voltage
Hi all,
Before shouting "buy a new one", does anyone know what exactly would break if the voltage was reversed on a LK204? My power supply got set to negative.. and my system was powered up. It was 5v reversed.
Thanks.

Thank you for your reply, Raquel. The $FE I have in there was one of my many trials. My other device uses $16 but that does not work either. The address of that device is $A0. Unfortunately, that BS2 link you sent does not apply to my unit. Perhaps someone will read this who has used any MO display ...

GLK12232-25-WBL / PicBASIC Pro
Hello,
I have been trying for a number of hours to get my GLK12232-25-WBL working with I2C using a PIC16F877A and PicBASIC Pro. The device works fine using serial communication with the computer. The default address is 0x50. I have other devices working correctly on the I2C bus - but the LCD shows ...
