Hello Raquel,

The font I'm using is the default one: Small Filled. I assume it has a fixed font size (I couldn't find in the LCD's data sheet a command to modify the font's size).

In my first post I described the steps I did that caused the problem.
Those were just an estimation of the steps, so ...

Assumption verified

I checked again and found that the following statement:
"Also, apparently that the text in action #5 doesn't get completely clear."
is actually true/correct.

How fast the GLK19264-7T-1U device can process commands?

I'm writing to a GLK19264-7T-1U device, and for some reason the the text isn't rendered properly.

These are the actions I do:
Send a "Clear Screen" command. (0xFE 0x58)
Write 20-chars-long text.
Waits 1 second.

Oh, so how someone can distinguish if the data that he reads refers to his display?

GLK19264-7T-1U datasheet errata ?

I think that there's an errata in the DS of the GLK19264-7T-1U device.

In the Description column of the "Set Drawing Color" command, the following text appears:

Drawing color (0: White, 1-255:
Black).

But it actually should be:
Drawing color (1-255: White, 0:
Black).

That's verified.

Please ...

Hi Ray,

I would be able to try that later because of some technical reasons.

Hi Raquel,

I think that I already have a black background.
I also tried to draw a black rectangle (command 0xfe 0x72) but it didn't work either.

Am I required to draw a solid rectangle with an opposite color anyway ...

Hi Raquel,

I'm sending the command "Draw a Rectangle" as follows ("0x" indicates hexadecimal values; those are separated by space):

0xFE 0x72 0 0 0 50 50

And, the "Set Drawing Color" command:

0xFE 0x63 0

Those two aforementioned commands do not executed, as far as I can see.

Other commands ...

GLK19264-7T-1U color parameter problem

Helllo,

I'm using the GLK19264-7T-1U device.
It works great. But I have noticed that some commands do not get executed.

For example, when I send a command that draws a rectangle with a specified color parameter (0 or 1 = white or black, respectively) - the command isn't being executed. I don't see ...

GLK19264-7T-1U and RS232 (TTL levels) communication

Hi,

I have the GLK19264-7T-1U device.

There's a communication problem with the device. It turns ON, but it seems that it doesn't detect the bits that I'm sending.

I did the following configurations:

Disconnected all 3 zero-ohm resistors from the RS232 jumpers,
and connected 2 zero-ohm ...
