Re: Boot screen with company logo?

Hi Mascenzi, There are only 8 custom characters available on the OK204. You could try to find a way to use the same custom characters for different parts of your Logo eg. you could modify some of the custom characters used in the 'I' so that they can be reused in the 'P'. That would reduce the amoun...

Re: C++ using customer characters? OK204-25-USB

Hi Mascenzi,

You should be able to send either of the following:

WriteFile(my_port,"\0x00", 1, &bytes_written, NULL);

or

unsigned char b = 0x00;
WriteFile(my_port,&b, 1, &bytes_written, NULL);

No command will be needed to draw the custom character on the screen.

Cheers,
Daniel

Re: C++ using customer characters? OK204-25-USB

Hi mascenzi, It won't be necessary for you to save your custom characters in order to use them. Once a character is created, you can draw it on screen it by sending the assigned custom character ID to the display. I have a pseudo code example demonstrating how to use custom characters below: ClearSc...

Re: C++ OK204-25-USB writing text issue

Hi mascenzi, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I'm glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue. Now that your communication interface has been sorted, you should have everything you need to fully control your new display. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns! Ch...

Re: C++ OK204-25-USB writing text issue

Hi mascenci, Welcome to the forums! I've taken a look at your first photo (helloworldchar.jpg) and it looks like your string's NULL terminator (0x00) is also being sent and displayed on screen. Sending the Hello World string without the following NULL terminator should get rid of that extraneous cha...

Re: require code for designing on EVE2-70A

Hi Madhusudan.Jadhav,

Have you modified the EVE Know code at all to properly interface with your Infineon processor?

The EVE Knob Example was designed to be used with an Arduino, so modifications may need to be made in order for it to work properly with your host.

Cheers,
Daniel

Re: EVE2-38G question about of the touch calibration

Hi TFTLCDCyg, Welcome to the forums! The EVE2-38G uses a FocalTech GT911 touch controller and in order to enable and calibrate the EVE2-38G's capacitive touch panel, you will need to upload a touch configuration file to the EVE2's FT813 chip.This is detailed further in sections 6.6.2 and 6.6.3 of FT...

Re: Power supply

Hi VFDSAW, The easiest way to protect your board from reverse voltage application is to prevent it from happening in the first place! Choosing headers and connectors that are only compatible one way is a simple way of preventing reverse voltages from being applied to the board. You can also use a 3 ...

Re: USB to SPI Development Kit for Matrix Orbital EVE Display Modules

Hi Dominic, While we don't offer any code examples written in C#, we do have multiple examples written in C, and Arduino C. We also have a C library that you can use for your development. These examples can be found on our website and our Github page: Matrix Orbital Website: https://www.matrixorbita...

Re: gtt25_dataset_save() file format

Hi Adrian, Unfortunately, no such option is available right now, but you've made a good case for a PushMultiData command/function. We've added it to the list of things to do. Our software/firmware team will take a look at adding this functionality when they can, and I'll provide an update when we ha...

Re: gtt25_dataset_save() file format

Hi Adrian, Unfortunately no such command exists at the moment due to how IDs are assigned to GTT25 Objects. I'll talk to the firmware and software developers here to see if there is a similar solution/approach that can be taken based on the commands that are available. I'll let you know what they sa...

Re: GTT38A hard reset?

Hi Adrian, Welcome to the forums! I'm glad to hear you are working with our GTT. Unfortunately, there is no way to hardware reset the display other than applying a power cycle. We have implemented a few measures to reduce the chance of a communication loss, such as hardware flow control, and a secur...

Re: program errors GTT70

Hi Alex,

I understand that your GTT70A with RS232 in mass storage mode is not being identified in Windows 7 as a flash card.

Can you send me an image of the back of your GTT when it is connected to your computer?

Cheers,

Daniel
