Unsigned Drivers & Vista 64
In order to get our 64 bit drivers to work on Vista 64, you must let vista know that it is to accept unsigned drivers. In order to do this you must install the drivers, and then once you reboot press F6 upon startup, and vista will now allow unsigned drivers to work.

Hi ferespgar, I am sorry to here that you burnt the display, please note the part number of the display, if your display has a -V in the part number this means that it is capable of doing +9 to +15V. I have created a sticky that will allow you to identify if you have a -V display here . As for the k...

Hi Nombrandue, Welcome to our forums! Thanks for posting. I would like to first inform you of LCDproc which is a linux based display driver. LCDproc can be configured for our displays by using the 'MtxOrb' driver, which you can find more information about here . One of the things I would like to kno...

-V - What does a voltage regulator look like?
The majority of our LK/VK/PK units come with the available option of a voltage regulator that will allow you to supply the unit with between +9 to +15V, instead of just the standard 5V. If you have a unit on your hands, and you are supplying 5V to it and you get only blocks showing up, like '5V to -...

Hi Tim, It sounds like there are some conflicting resources between the docking station and the MX display. Could you please connect both of the units and then open up 'System Information'. It can be found under your start menu->programs->accessories->system tools. Then click on Hardware Resources->...

Hi Adasm, Sorry, i don't think we could do this. Doing after market modifications to cheap hardware is rarely if ever possible. My only suggestion would be to create a new dvd player from scratch. This would require you to grab a laptop DVD-ROM and a mini-ITX motherboard, then create your own DVD pl...

If you could let me know the results of swapping them, I would be able to get a good indication of wether the display is faulty, or wether there is a compatiblity issue related to your motherboard. However, I believe the 212 that you have does demonstrate a problem that could be remedied by sending ...

Has anybody else heard of similar problems?
lutorm, do you think this was related to the driver problems you had? Is there anyway you can try your display with another motherboard to see if it's just your display in particular that has the problem? (or maybe it's just with your specific motherboard)

Also, let me add that these fans work perfectly on two other MX210's we have in the shop. (At any speed.) Considering the fact that the MX6 uses almost identically the same board as the MX2, I would have to conclude that your MX6 is faulty. Unless there is something to do with the power supply as R...

lutorm,
FTDI has said that "this isn't a common problem as suspend / resume is essential for Winqual certification."
However, there may be some power mode settings that can be changed, these can be found on page 6 of this document.
Let me know if this helps.

Thats strange that it wouldn't be detected. I recommend two things, uninstall LCDC, and install an updated version from LCDC.cc, and then unistall your drivers and install updated drivers from our website . After you have done this, try and see if you can get LCDC to detect it. If not, try LCDC.cc f...

Hi firengine16, The display is capable of handling up to 1Amp current draw for each fan. So the fans you have should run no problem. The sensor on the other hand won't be able to directly plug into our display, what do you use to read the sensor right now? Our display may be able to grab the tempera...
