Also If I wanted to hook up 3.3v leds or something lower than 5v is it ok to solder a resistor to make that possible...

Just found out that they no longer make the version I have DS1820 I see that it has a 500ms max time vs the 750ms max time of the DS18S20. So should I hold onto theese babies for a special build because they are more accurate or does it matter with the MO displays? FROM MANUFACTURERS WEBSITE: THE DI...

DS1820 AND DS18S20 TEMP PROBES whats the difference?

Hello I have several DS1820 sensors and I assume the probes that you buy from Matrix Orbital (they are all in my pc so I cant look) are the DS18S20 there is an "S" in the middle of the name that is the difference. I have made several probes using these and they seem to work just fine I was...

attatching temp sensors with acrtic silver?

I cant find where I asked before, but I am going to get some arctic silver adhesive not the regualr stuff to mount my sensors on critical components. Its permanent and its probably the besy thing you could use. I just remember it was asked here before and the Matrix Orbital staff suggested epoxy. Th...

I was wondering if I could have the display run the fans at 50% PWM while I power on the pc. I have it controlled in lcdc but if I turn off the pc and turn it back on the fans stay at 100% until lcdc actually starts up. If the display cant run PWM until lcdc starts is there a way to just use 5 or 7 ...

there sure is now it has support for 3 and 4 but more features that work for just v4. I think it s the greatest thing to happen to LCDC etc. If you are using MBM% dump it and try everest its 1000 times better as a program anyway.

So now I am thinking I need to hook up the un modified floppy connector to power the d...

best to just forget lcd smartie and those other programs LCDC does work with all the matrix orbital displays. I never had any luck with lcd smartie etc. I think they are junk really but thats just me. download a free 30 trial of LCDC to see if it suits you I amsure it will.
