The fans will power on as soon as voltage is applied to the display. So in this case, the fans will power on, as soon as you turn on your PC. :)

Thanks for posting! Have you checked your LCDC settings. There is an option for the display to time-out after so long. Let me know if that helps.

Thanks for posting. Have you tried turning off the computer disconnecting all wries and then re assembling them and try a different usb port? Let me know if that works.
