Re: Boot time on GTT50A

Hi gcardwel, The GTT Demo project's slow boot is caused by the amount of images that get loaded during startup. Immediately after the display powers on, it begins to load all of the project's images into a buffer. These images include the calculator up and down button images, the piano key images, t...

Re: GX Typhoon dosn't work on KODI

Hi Andmc, It looks like no one has developed any Kodi plugins for LCDStudio just yet. We have released the GX Typhoon DataPlugin and WidgetPlugin creation guides (taken from LCDStudios Forums). Hopefully it will inspire an enthusiastic members of the Kodi community to write up a few plugins and post...

GX Typhoon DataPlugin SDK Creation Guide

Hello all, With the closing of the LCDStudio forums (at least for now), a lot of valuable information has been lost in the void, including the DataPlugin SDK Quick start Guide, and the WidgetPlugin Quickstart Guide, both written byt Ray himself. Without these guides, it would be difficult for users ...

Re: Touch regions on GLT240128-FGW

Hi Fabien, You are correct. The "Draw a Rectangle" and the "Create a Touch" region command have different parameters, so it will require different values to draw them on top of each other. For the Rectangle, X1, and Y1 represent the Top Leftmost corner of the rectangle. X2, and Y...

Re: Touch regions on GLT240128-FGW

Hi FabienFrench, Welcome to the forums! Drawing rectangles directly over top your touch region is a great method of highlighting where your regions have been set up, and can help you find your regions once they are drawn. For example, if you set up a region at X:0, Y:0, Width : 32, Height :32, draw ...

Re: LK204-25_PC and his screen

Hi Ultraspider,

Your replication is pretty on the spot.

I've drawn the large digits from 0-9 on one of our newer displays so you can see how each digit should look.

Hopefully this helps you sort out the rest of the digits.

Re: LK204-25_PC and his screen

Hi Ultraspider, I was able to find a Rev 1.01 LK204-25-PC display myself, and give it a quick test. Unfortunately, I can't seem to replicate the issue you're having. Much like Henry's experience 15 years ago, my display is working perfectly fine. It may be that the display is victim to a 15 year old...

Re: LK204-25_PC and his screen

Hi ultraspider, It looks like you're correct. The Save custom character command doesn't seem to appear in the old manual. Also, it looks like your display is returning the wrong value when reading the version Number. Could you send the Read Module Type Command to the display, and let me know what th...

Re: LK204-25_PC and his screen

Hi ultraspider, It's cool to hear you're pulling out your now 15 year old display for a new project. Unfortunately, the display you have is pretty old, and predates any records that we have, and therefore I can't check to see if we have a firmware fix, or if the issue ever got resolved for your disp...

Re: Drivers not signed on Windows 7 64-bit?

Hi Trytin,

I run a Windows 10 PC at the office, and the USB drivers work fine for me. The Windows 10 OS will be SHA-2 compatible from factory. If you are installing the drivers on your Windows 10 PC, you should have nothing to worry about.

Cheers,
Dan

Re: Separate region and coordinate response areas

Hi Lenny, There is also a image slider option available! You just need to upload two images to your GTT in order to use it. One image will represent the slider, and another image will represent the slider button. You can take a look at the example images below. Button.png Slider.png Slider and Slide...

Re: Separate region and coordinate response areas

Hi Lenny, At the moment, only one reporting style can be selected at a time. You are able to switch between the two reporting styles at any time during operation, but that may affect the unit's functionality. I understand you are using 18 images along with coordinate reports to simulate a sliding vo...
