Re: DriverCore SDK

Re: LCDStudio Status or Updates?

Yeah the domain transfer from my old dutch hosting to my new north American one didn't go as smoothly as i hoped, and the domain got locked for a 2 month period, I just poked the hosting guys again to see what's up, either way, support isn't dead, the site is ready to go with active forum on the new...

I have no docs available, but if there are specific questions about functionality, feel free to send me a PM and i'll be more than happy to help out. I have to admit at the usb level there's not much to it, put frame, set backlight color etc, pretty basic stuff. and by the looks of it the lcd4linux ...

Thats vb.net though, vb6 got released in 1999, microsoft's official support ended somewhere in 2005. You might be better off learning vb.net instead since thats still a supported product.

No driver core is no longer needed, but since media portal was written against it we supplied a compatibility dll that makes media portal happy with the new drivers. You can safely remove DriverCore completly.

Updated Drivers

Given due to the number of request for the drivers we have in test and the feedback sofar I'm making them 'semi' public by putting them here for people to play with. These should work on XP/Vista/Win7 in both x86 and x64 variants. Be sure to remove the old software if you had it installed, after tha...

It's more like a week and a half, but I have to admit thats still longer then it should have been (but not nearly "MORE THEN 1 MONTH!") so my apologies for that. Now on windows 7, given installation on that platform 'was kinda iffy' and we had some outstanding bugs on other platforms as we...

Well jpg already lists the restriction (no cymk support, rgb only), bmp should have no restrictions, animated gifs will only give you the first frame, if you want to use animations you'd have to use our build in animation system. Generally although the unit supports jpg just fine I mostly tend to le...
