Re: powering the GTT29A - which header accepts wide voltage?

Hello James, Thank you for posting on the forum. The VPT model may work down at 5V but it is intended to work at 9-35V. You should be able to supply power from either of these connections (I assume that you have a -CS model): -Extended Serial Comm/ Power Header -I2C header The Alternate Power Connec...

Re: How to display many tiles on the screen

Hello Zoran, Thank you for contacting Matrix Orbital technical support. I will forward your question to my colleague, and update you when I have the information. In the mean time can I please get the serial number on your EVE unit? It's a small clear sticker with format xxMxx-xxxx. Thank you, Raquel

Re: Find out if LCD panel is connected to serial port

Sorry, I assumed you have a USB model.
Unfortunately, no there is no way of knowing a display was plugged in via the serial com port without writing to it.

Thank you,
Raquel

Re: Find out if LCD panel is connected to serial port

Hello,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

You can check for ttyUSB0 to know when a display is plugged in.
To further confirm, ask for a module type or version number (please see commands in the manual) and check the display's reply.

I hope this helps.

Thank you,
Raquel

Re: EVE3x-70A electrical connection documentation

Hi John,

I am glad you have figured things out.
If you need to have the EVE3x-70A customized for your needs, we can setup a custom for you (such that certain resistors are populated).

Thank you,
Raquel

Hello, Thank you for posting on the forum. I have replied to your email via the tech support queue. I also shared a *.exe for the EVE4x-40G to test the hardware. It sounds like you are having a power issue. You mentioned that you are seeing 3.3V on the display, can you please tell me where you measu...

Re: No touch response

Hello, If you try to calibrate this time, you will have better chances of being successful. GTT will automatically write the touchcal.dat when it finishes a successful calibration. This file is specific to your GTT unit and therefore is not downloadable, or something you can just copy to the unit. B...

Re: GPIO Short for Haptic/Amplifier Enable

Hello,

Thank you for posting on the forum.
Yes, GPIO3 controls the motor and GPIO2 controls the amplifier power (there is a minor error in manual, will have this corrected).
Please note motor is active low, and amp power is active high.

Let me know how it turns out.

Best Regards,

Re: No touch response

Hello,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

I am sorry for the delayed reply.
I understand that your issue had moved to a different problem now (as I correspond via email).
For posterity, your GTT maybe having touch calibration which could be caused by a misbehaving SD card.
