Yes, I was going to post a direct link but the older articles are not up yet. But my "sources" tell me they are working on it right now. To mount the LCD in the floppy section use a MK2041 ( http://www.matrixorbital.com/products/mk2041.htm ) as a cut out guide. What was done with the case ...

It can be done... just have to be care full The LEDs would have to be cut off perfectly straight and then the plastic filed to perfect smoothness and then the new ones glued on perfectly straight...

hmmm... might be possible. The only problem with the LK204-25PC backlight is it's one big piece. So cutting the leds off and replacing them with red ones would prove to be a challenge to do really well. But I believe it can be done.

OK, when I read your post I burst out laughing... The PCB is about 25% bigger then a 5 1/4 drive bay. I would recommend: 1. Well, thats exacly what it is. There is a CCFL under the LCD display instead of EL or LED backlight.
