Hi,
We are using LK204-25 in our product. We use it in power on and power off mode. I realize there is short wair after power on before you can send char to the LCD via I2C bus, it seems to me about at somewhere between 200ms and 500ms. I have two questions about that.
(1) If there is start up period, how long you have to wait after power on before you can send chars to the LCD ?
(2) Except boot screen, is there any application for user to view or change settings of LK204-25 ? Thanks
Daniel
RE: LK204-25 Startup time and settings change ?
Hi Nileiqi,
Thanks for posting your question. To answer the following questions:
1) A short initialization period is required at display start up, therefore I would recommend a 300mS delay.
2) You can also send the following command in decimal:
254 64 [80 characters]
- This command sets and memorizes the startup screen which will appear each time the display is turned on.
If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.
