LK162-12-WB through ethernet i/o
I recently ordered a LK162-12-WB lcd and im having trouble displaying the correct char's. Im using a ethernet i/o to send it data which supports ttl votages so i put the jumpers on ttl but i dont know a lot about rs232 ive been looking on rs232 info websites but i want to make sure this is correct.
to send this display ascii "A" with rs232 with ttl voltage i would use
one start bit and two stop bits correct?
1=ttl low 0=ttl high right?
it should look like this right?
start info stop
0 01000001 11
or like this?
start info parity stop
0 1000001 0 11
any help will be apreciated
rs232 site i was lookin at
http://www.arcelect.com/rs232.htm
ether i/o im using

Hi legendsngray,
The default baud rate is 19200. To make sure that your module is at 19200,
you can put a manual override jump: please see page 11, Figure 17 of
http://www.matrixorbital.ca/manuals/LK_ ... rev_30.pdf
Btw, I am a gal.

controller
then a resister to 5v power for the data wire as well as a a resister to 5v power for the clock wire
then multiple lcds
