Hi,
Here's what I'd like to do but no idea if it's even possible.
I want to build a Linux PC with an LCD control panel which would allow me to change some simple things in a custom Windows application running under WINE. Eventually it will be a native Linux application.
Something like having a media player running and be able to change files with a control panel.
Is this at all possible?
Controlling an application via LCD panel
Hi Tony,
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, our displays are primarily intended for output purposes, however, many units do have simple keypad input capability. Regardless of the screen used, I believe there will be a great deal of code behind that application.
Our products are definitely extremely easy to interface to, so that part would be pretty easy. However, without much knowledge of the code required, I can't say for certain that this kind of application would be possible.
If you do have any further questions regarding our displays, or their functionality, please feel free to put up another post.
