I was wondering if there is any LCD software currently out there that can support using a button press (i have a 2-20 with PC bay insert) to shut down windows?
I'm working on a HTPC and that would be a great function to have..

Thanks. J

I'm sure that would not be a problem to add to LCDC? Although I do find it an odd request!!

Well first of all i think it would be extremly usefull for me and my HTPC one single key press on the LCD and the computer shutsdown.
but on a wider scale, (i love LCDC btw it's bloddy amazing) there really is no LCD program that is the total package for a car mp3 player or HTPC as well as being perfect for the home, you could make LCDC the be all end all of LCD programs for that purpose, with full keypad support for all commands, shuffle..

that's my thinking, past the selfish desire for it.

I'm not sure that you would want to completely shut the system down for a home theater application. I would imagine you'd want to put it into some sort of standby mode, like most home theater components already do.

Shutdown & Standby have now both been implemented into LCDC
