That's awesome. In case I come untuned, feel free to mail me a note when you've got a new version to test. I'll try to wire some LEDs to my GPOs so I can be more useful. I've got a few salvaged case LEDs that should push on nicely.

In other news, Win32::SerialPort is a major pain in the ass to install. This news comes as a crushing blow to the Win32 Perl LCD software development community (me, as far as I can tell).

Version 0.12b:

-Added AM/PM changer to the alarm time
-Added Alert when alarm is set to active or disabled
-Tested the execute feature, everything worked (double checked because one user couldn't get it to work)
-Found some potentiol bugs, will be removing them on next release

ok, tried it..

problem #1: when you switch to 24 hour clock it moves the clock over 1, leaving the first number behind.

3:19 12h
33:19 24h

Problem #2: when you scroll , delete what ever is behind the scroll, it leaves traces behind.

also when you start the program, the date doesn't apear. untill you set it to 24h or alarm or something... and the program seems to reset it self if the alarm and date are scrolling...

Okay, I'll try to post a progress report here:

Started again from a scratch, so it'll take some time before the release of the next version. I've got some surprises for you (Henry, don't say them!), and the code is improving. You aren't going to notice anything, but I will be able to faster debug, improve and make changes to the program now.

Okay, that's all for it now, happy LCD'ing

okay, I need an SNTP server...

henry, you must put more video on the forum. that's realy showing the power of the lcd and the beauty of the different apps.

I will post some video of mine when I get it and develop my own apps.
