LCDC problem

LCDC came with my new matrix orbital USB LCD. I configure LCDC to load at start up....and I see it in my system tray....so far so good. I also put my screen builder file that needs to load when LCDC starts.
The thing is that LCDC doesn't load the file....I keep seeing the "Welcome to matrix orbital" message. I have to click on LCDC and click on "start/stop display for the screen file to be actually loaded. Any reason why it's not loading it and starting it automatically like it's supposed to do?
