I just got my LCD back from MO for repair, but it still doesn't seem to work correctly. I can't get it to respond to anything and if I try to send an image it says:
Warning! The module did not return the correct character! (Send: 2 Received : 94)
Do you want to continue?

I'm using a serial cable purchased from MO and a power cable from Radio Shack. The power works and it turns on, but I can't change it from the main screen that says Graphics in any Direction with the four arrows. Please help! Thanks!
I've just been browsing around a bit and it sounds like some people have been able to fix the problem by swapping the TX and RX. I want to know if this could be the case before I go and break stuff though .
Before you do that, make sure you can communicate with the unit. Can you turn the backlight off/on, contrast up/down? If you can do that then your communication lines are setup correctly.

Can you try performing a manual override as described in the manual and let me know how you make out. If the problem persists you can contact me at myero@matrixorbital.com and we can discuss some alternatives, such as sending you a new display!

I tried the manual override and it still doesn't work . I get some mess of garbage on the lcd when i turn it on now as if the graphic became corrupt. You can still see some of the four arrows though. I'll send you an email right now.
