HAAAAAAAARGH this guy is cutting his case like a...like a heu BARBARIAN and WITHOUT WEARING PROTECTION GLASSES. He is crazy.
if you wanna cut some some mod; always wear protection, i have a realy heavy case and when i cut i always feel some little metal piece knocking on my glasses.

another tips, view the final project in your mind and do all de modification to you case before painting, this could preserve you to repaint it... i know what i'm talking about :-)

Yes paint in the end.. my buddy didn't do that, <sigh> it was a after though. So now we will be cutting his black painted case to fit a LCD into it...

I'll make some kind of boxed - lcd with led's, switches and stuff on it when I get my lcd

which lcd are these
there a lot of information on the second one. is it a graphic lcd ?

LK204-25 in the first picture and GLK24064-25 in the second... using a small font gets you 8 lines of text.

funny??? Did you mean functional. Unfortunately the picture does not show the duct tape inside the display box. This is a class act!

Funny in the way I have never seen any one do that :smile: Duct tape??? now that you have to post a picture of :grin:

He'll be replacing the shaft bearings on that Dremel before long too. But you're too right about eye protection.

Well, I just tried it...

Everything is centered... the alarm goes off; excecuted the command and tells you the alarm went off... as well as the backlight goes off after 1 min (I think, it looked close)...
