Hello,
I was wondering if we can use LEDs on the GPOs. I would like to turn a FAN on and then have an LED light up. Thanks!

That's Perfect. Just what I needed. Got another question for yah. Do you know where I can get some 2 pin connectors for the fans? The same connectors shown in that link you provided. So far I've seen just 3 or 4 pin connectors. I can't sodder to save my life. Other than that, that program you provided would do the trick. Thanks!

There was a thread about this here
http://www.lcdforums.com/forums/viewtop ... forum=1&15
this was mostly talking about the UK, but Digikey should have them too.. I don't know the part number though...

hey there....i got a question also...ive got my lcd installed, but havent hooked my fans up yet so i dont know the answer...
does the lcd remember which gpos are on and off after a power down etc....i want to hook my stuff up, but i dont want to have to open the software and turn them on every time i turn my system on.....also, any chance of a program that controls all 8 separatily...and do you know if the new lcd driver (when ever its finished) will support the gpos....would be nice to have a single program that can do everything.
gee, that ended up being more than one question diddent it...

No, the LCD when powered off and then on will have all the GPOs turned off. There is no software for all 8 GPOs right now, but I will see what I can do...
try this
http://www.matrixorbital.com/download/digibus.zip
Just put it into your startup and it will turn on every time.
LCDriver 2.0 is coming, I have spoken with Uller and it's not too far off.
Yes it woul dbe, and LCDriver 2.0 should be that amd I'm sure we will see other programs before then too

Keep en eye on on the developers forum.
I will have a copy of LCDriver 1.0 that will work with our LCDs at 19.2K very soon.

i just extracted the files from the cab file in the zip.....works fine from the extracted directory.....
so, that will the gpo's.....but, now i cant run lcd center or another lcd app....cant wait for the new lcd driver....
went to unplug the power from the lcd a few min ago, broke the tab of on the connecter....those things are brittle

that program works specificaly with the LK204-25-PC
GPOs work great with it!!!

As well, the program will only work if no other program is. Because they do not share the COM port nicely. So there is only one solution to this problem, another LCD
