20x2 lcd into 3.5" drive space

I have a small form factor case, and only have a 3.5" drive slot open. Has anyone figured out a way to get the LCD into such a small area. It looks like the lcd will would fit, but not the entire module. PLease help...Thanks.

Give up now, I looked for over a year and, yes, as you already found out, the biggest character display you can have in a 3.5 slot is a 16x2 module. Look it's never enough, if you can fit a 20x2 then you will be looking for a 24x4 etc........ Configure software instead to display what you need with your current limitation.

You can get small enough 2x20's for a 3.5" bay... none with nice MO controllers, only parallel displays.
