Alignment problem w/ MX 222 USB

I have a problem getting my display to align properly. I just installed it earlier today and I installed the software. It was working right away, but all the text seemed to be messed up. The text (when left-aligned) still starts about 5-6 characters from the left and I can't seem to fix this problem. I'm running Windows XP Pro (if that matters). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
