Just downloaded the LCDTester app. Very cool, now I don't have to write my own app to setup the power up text for LCDs.

Is there a new database that contains device types for LK202-24? I got an error that the type was invalid when I tried to connect to LCD.

Hello...

The new database is currently being worked on, but for now you can use the LK202-25 definition file and change it in "manage data base". Let me know how you make out. :D

Before I got your response, I tried editting the device type for the LK202-24 to 0x36. This allowed me to connect to the device and the various functions from LCDTester are working now.

BTW - Does the tool support virtual com ports, ie port numbers greater than 9?

Thanks!

The software tool for now has only 9 com ports available. We are in the process of increasing that number... :)
