At Ports (COM & LPT) it's listed as Matrix Orbital MX2xx USB Driver (COM3)
At Universal Serial Bus controllers it's listed as Matrix Orbital MX2xx USB Driver

It sounds like the MX2 is properly detected. In the control panel can you change the com port to 5 for example...? and try LCDC again, make sure you have the newest version of LCDC! What OS are you running?

system is runnig on WinXP SP1a.Did try to use other com port but results remain the same.my understanding is that on first use of the MX2 a text greeting of Matrix Orbital should be display on the first line of the lcd screen followed by the model number on the second line however none is display except white boxes wth no text.i'm using the latest LCDC.need help desperately
