I need to load the same boot time image and settings to multiple displays, is there an easy way to do this without loading the USB drivers for each display and running the Power On utility.

Currently, I'm having problems with the Power On utility not communicating reliably (it takes 5-6 runs to get the data loaded to the display right)

I've seen posts about loading the .mem file - is this an option?

Unfortunately this is the only way to do this. To execute the memory chip file a hex editor is needed as each byte is designated to something related to our firmware. Using the mem chip file, you would still have to install each device accordingly.

Miles - thanks for the information. However, this won't work, you see the "power-on" utility doesnt seem to work for serial ports above Com10 so, I can't just keep making serial comm's and laoding with the power on tool.

I understand...Have you tried changing the port to something lower than 10? Click on the device in your device manager under the Ports (COM & LPT) section, then port settings, advanced, finally change the port setting to something under 10...

Does the bootlogo.exe file included on the CD that comes with the displays actually change something in the module, or do you have to run that every time you power it up?

You will not have to run bootlogo.exe every time you start the display, all that is required is that when you change the start up screen, you "write to display" and this will save it into the EEPROM.
