Came across these... Will they work? I got 4. The interesting thing is that it says they are calibrated for Farenheit (spelling?). ?

Did that link work?

Yes, the link works but i dont think that probe will.

That sensor looks identicle to the Dallas 1-wire, but as far as I am aware, the only sensors detected in LCDC at the moment are the DS1820 and the DS18B20.

Don't think so, as they probbaly won't work with the dallas one wire protocol that is needed to talk to the probe.

Eddiie,

Sorry these will not work.
These are thermal transistor not 1 wire devices.

The temp probes for the MX are Dallas 1 wire devices.
To try and clarify a 1 wire device is not a simple probe it is a complete device that communicates data over 1 wire.

To have a better understanding take a look at http://www.ibutton.com (all of the devices listed there are 1 wire devices)

Hope this helps

So Sad...

So Sad that I didn't do enough research before I purchased the inline temprature probes. Well, at least I found out the answer *before* adding water to the case!

Oh well, now I'll just have to build my own inline sensor set using Dallas 1 wire devices.
