FDTI 2XX Drivers

I would like to use a display as striaght USB. has any one had an success using the FDTI 2XX drivers to talk to the display. Is it possible?
This would be preferable to polling several com ports looking for the right display. I intend to use several modules at the same time.

Yes we have, we use the direct driver for production here. All you need to do is add the the PID of the display to the ini files. The PIDs are located in the manual for the displays.

OK I converted the driver ini files and now I can talk the the module with the FDTI2XX dll. It works great. All the calls work except FT_ListDevices() I can get the number of devices, but not the serial numbers. Does it work there, or should I contact FDTI ??

Since we did not write the drivers, we are not that well versed in them. I would highly recomend contacting FTDI direct, they are very helpful and anwser e-mails very quickly and in good detail.
