TTL comms for GLC24064 - how?

How do I use TTL levels for comms with GLC24064?

In the manual section 2.2.1 it says "...for TTL, please see below.", but I don't see a direct mention of it below, there is just info on RS232 through the power connector and I2C.

Can TTL levels be used through the power connector? With RS232 polarity, or reversed? Can the solder links on the SP232 chip be altered to allow this?

If possible, I would like to use RS232-type serial communications, but at TTL levels.

Thanks,
Brendon

PS. This forum is a great idea.

Hi Brendon,

To change your display to TTL levels, you must desolder 2 jumpers, and solder 2 jumpers close to the SP232 chip. Refer to the picture below for the locations of the jumpers.

When you do these modifications you can use true TTL levels. You can use the TTL levels through the power connectors. To communicate throught the 4 pin power connector you must connect two jumpers. Refer to section 2.2.2 RS232 Communication through the Power Connector in the manual for the locations of the jumpers.

If you want to communicate by I

Thanks
