I am interested in purchasing an MX2x. The only function I need is to be able to set the ip address on the server. Using linux kernal 2.6.5. Has anyone else tried this? Rate level of difficulty.

Unfortunately we currently do not support linux, but there have been people who got the displays to work under the linux environment by modifying the kernal. The link for this information is at

I don't know about setting the IP, but LCDProc supports multiple LCD functions in linux (Including MO displays).
