Hi!

I have just gotten my lcd and have a question about the keypad. The manual says that the keypad interface has 10 pins. The first five is for columns and the next five is for rows. But i have twelve pins, does that mean that there are six columns and six rows?

If anyone has any clue please let me know.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for the post.

The display is still five rows and five columns. The first and the last pin are attached to ground for an increase in static protection. Overall your keypad will be the same 5x5 matrix keypad interface.

If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask.

:D

Best Regards,
