Getting plugins to show up (sorry noob question, just got)

Getting plugins to show up (sorry noob question, just got)

I got a few plugins online, speedfan and trillian....i have extracted the files into the plugin folders, but they dont show up in the screen builder to choose.

Any help would be great.

Hi Highlife,

Thanks for posting.

To get the plugin to show up you must go into the Configuration/Test menu. Highlight the plugin option. All the plugins will be shown on the right side afterwards. Check the boxes of the plugins you want to show up in screen builder. Press the checkmark to accept the changes. You should be able to see the extra plugins you downloaded.

Hey thanks for the reply tom...i got it working and created my very first screen. =)

My question is does MMM5 require the program to be running like speedfan does?

Got trillian working too, pretty kewl =)

MM5 needs to be running for the plugin to work. Any plugin that is associated with the certain program needs to be running. ie) If you are using the ATi tool plugin, you need ATi tool running.
