Thermal Probe Mounting

I'm assuming that the "flat" part of the probe should be making contact with the surface to be measured. Any ideas on how to secure them to the surface. Thermal tape? Pressure contact? superglue?
How do the restof you secure them. Can they be filed down slightly on backside to insure a tight fit?

Hey soundx,
You've been a busy poster here

when I use them I either use super glue on to mount them on hard drives, heatsinks or power supplies. I have also used zip ties to strap them to fans. Hope this helps you out.

Oh my God, banned after only 5 posts, hehehe.
Thanks for the tips. I thought just a dab of super glue would be the way to go. I have some small samples of Chomerics thermal tape I'll give a try with as well. I may try some filing to jam one underneath the heatsink.
Love your stuff though. You Matrix Orbitalites keep up the great work
