Hi,

I have a LK202-24-USB Revision 1.6 LCD which I have been using on and off for the past few months. Everything was fine until yesterday when I plugged it in I notinced that the background light was extremely bright and the Matrix Orbital startup screen was replaced with garbled characters. I also noticed that there was a purpleish discoloration toward the bottom right of the screen. Afterwards my software was able to display text on the screen, but because of the high backlight and high contrast of the text it is unreadable from most angles. I have only powered it by usb.

I am using the linux drivers.

I would appriciate any assitance.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for posting at the forums.

Were you still able to perform any communications with the unit? Can I also get a picture of the unit, so I can get a better idea on how the unit looks?

Yeah, I am able to send it text and it is displayed. But it is very hard ro read. Unfortunately from the pictures it isn't clear how hard the text is to read.
