GLK12232-25-WBL text overwrite??

Why do text and space overwrites not clear the pixels? I position the text and end up with garbage

Thank you for posting at the forum.
The graphics displays are not like the alpha nmeric displays with a predefined 5x7 dot matrix fonts. The graphics use made up font tables that don't take up a whole 5x7 like the alphanumerics, so you will see some of the old fonts pixel's shown if you don't erase it.
