Fan status screen / led

Post by Zero »

Question about LED's and popup screens.

I've got the MX6 all set up and working great. Only stuck with one last thing.

I have 2 fans connected to my motherboard (cpu and sys) that only run on occasion when they're needed. I would like to set up an LED for each fan and also have a screen pop up when its status changes. I use the speedfan plugin to monitor the fans speeds.

How do i make an LED turn on for each fan (when on), and have the screen flash their status, (ie: "CPU fan on" and "CPU fan off"). Is this even possible?

Thanks for any help, and I'm sorry if this has been asked a lot. I searched but could not find what I needed.

Hi Zero,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

A suggestion I have for turning a led on is to prgram the event as shown in the picture below. Basically the event has a LED turn on when the fan is greater than a certain amount.

If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to post them.

Best Regards,
