Screen Not Detected

Hi,
My new Mx620 just came in and I installed it but the LCDC software is unable to detect the screen. Windows installed it and the drivers just fine but the software is looking on COM ports unsuccessfully. I am using an internal USB cable and I have the 4 pins attached to a USB header on my ASUS A8N-32 Deluxe motherboard. I didn't remove the stock external USB cord so if having both plugged into the unit affects it that could be the problem. The external cable is not plugged into a USB port but just connected to the back of the display. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
