Ok. well. title pretty much says it all. After not using my LCD for a while, i thought i'd start usin it again. had no problems before. But now, when i apply power, the pic on the back begins to get really hot, and the characters on the screen get all glitchy. I am not overpowering it, and i believe it is hooked up correctly. can Anyone please help me out? it's important that i get this thing working to monitor my temps while gaming
thanks alot!

Hi Tim,

How much voltage are you applying to the unit? When did you purchase the unit?

I actually bought it off a friend of mine. It was working at the time i bought it, as i used it for a while. I am supplying it 5v off my psu. I believed maybe it was getting too much current, so i put a 220 ohm resistor there, but it wouldnt turn on with it in place.

Tim,

How old is the unit exactly? The unit may still be under warranty. Has long as it's under 1 year old.
