Just replaced an external MX212 for an MX232 simply by plugging it in.
Placed itself on an other comport wich is no problem, however the backlight stays very bright at 100%.
When Test Display with the command Backlight Intensity and sending the selected command it responds to the values set in Configure LCDC.
Even when making an Event as Backlight on Start with Action: Off it will respond. On Action: Reset it is not responding.
But on starting the display it still is on the 100%.

Hi Jan,

Try using uproject which can be downloaded at http://www.matrixorbital.ca/software/so ... /uproject/
You can set and save the default brightness of the display with that application.

Thanks Tom for the advise, I will give it a try.
Using my MX4 literally as an external plug&play device for more pc's probebly caused the problem.
Solution: saving money for an extra MX4.
