I found one probe on Matrix Orbital webiste, but it doesn't say it's a Dallas 1 wire.

I purchased the MX 630. Will this work?
Thanks,
Steve

Yep that should work for you. What were you planning on doing with it?

I read about these displays in CPU mag, and I'm about to build a new gamer system. I haven't selected the main hw, like mb and cpu yet, still collecting parts. I figured I would put the probes on the main heat areas, ram, gpu, etc. I also thought the software was cool, lots of features, meaning lots of stuff to display.
Got any suggestions? Do you have one, if yes, how are you using it?
Thanks,
Steve
please confirm one more time...

I know you said the cable sold at Matrix Orbital is going to work. However, you did not confirm it was a Dallas 1 wire. I know this may be stupid, but the information I've read says the probes must be Dallas 1 wire or don't bother. I wish I could understand that part. Anyways, the description doesn't say that so I wanted to double check before placing my order.
Thanks,
Steve

hi steve,
The temperature probes that are sold by Matrix Orbital are dallas one wire. So they'll work with the display. Thanks for posting the question.
Best Regards

You can also buy the bare probes directly from Dallas/Maxim (
