Am considering using the LX 202-24 USB in a design project, but all I need is the ability to use the screen, I dont need all the other features currently bundled with it, extra connections and so forth, as I need to cut down the cost.

I believe you can make custom LCD,s, but what is the minimum order on such a part, as I am only currently making a prototype and only need one, but with the possibility of a regular order after.

Thanks for your post.

We do manufacture custom displays.

In order to determine the MOQ (minimum ordering quantity) I would need to know what you actually would like changed on the display.

The cost primarilty comes from the USB interface. Therefore, even if we remove the keypad, one wires and GPOs (General Purpose Outputs), etc. it would not greatly reduce the cost.
