Question About GLK240128-25 Visibilitiy

We're looking at the GLD240128-25 for use in a project that goes into an automobile dashboard, more than likely without a top on the car.
How visible are these units in outside lighting?

Hi lhauck,
Thank you for your post and interest in Matrix Orbital.
If you are planning on purchasing the GLK240128-25 I would recommend the yellow/green color because it is transflective and this will be the best color option for sunlight readability as opposed to other colors.
I cannot really say how visible it is because that is very subjective and it depends on variables. All I can say is that your best bet when purchasing an LCD that will be in sunlight is to go for a tranflective color option.
The visibility will also depend on what angle you mount the display.
The only way to know how the display will look based on all these variables would be to try out the display in the actual conditions.
