Hi,

I am currently using the LK202-25 for a project and I wanted to read the version number by issuing the command 0x36.

The reply i got was 0x61. However the technical manual states that the only possible values are 0x10, 0x20 and 0x42. This is for PCB Revision 3.0.

Also, when reading the module type (command 0x37), i get 0x08 as reply which is correct for LK202-25.

I tried the above with uProject also and I got the same replies. Other than this, I can use the LK202-25 without any other problem.

Could you please let me know if 0x61 is a valid version number?

Thanks.

Hi DDTesTech,

The values listed in the manual are merely examples, the version number of a display changes periodically, so it's difficult to list the most current for every display. Version 6.1 is the most current firmware on that unit, and is indeed a valid firmware number.

If you have any further questions regarding that unit, please feel free to post them.

Thanks,
~Troy

No worries, that's what the forum's for. If you do run into any more questions, just post them up; that way it's there for the next person.
