LCDC uses MBM5 to monitor temps thru the motherboards monitors. What do you do if you want to use more than whats on the motherboard? My MB has three temp sensors, but I want to use some probes in other places, so how do I get either LCDC or the LCD itself to monitor those temps, and display them. If this is confusing let me know and I will try to give more info.

Matrix orbital Uses a basic Stamp, Don't they? What I'm wondering is, is there a way to program that stamp( with Basic maybe) to use the key pad interface and the Serial conection to gather temps and then use some kind of step up motor controller (run off the General outputs to control fan speeds?

Long story Short Is the stamp still a basic stamp, If not can it be connected to one or is it cheaper to buy just a stamp with an LCD?

They don't use a Stamp, they use a PIC and it's not reprogrammable.

Some of our newer units will be upgradeable... current they are not. A basic stamp uses a PIC bit all bunch of other stuff for easy development...
