Hi !
I wonder if the 20x4 Vfd is blue, if i buy it from
http://www.lillfab.se in sweden ??
And is it ready to plug in strait to the seriell port and then use LCDSmartie (for example) to show CPU speed and harddisk space ??
Does the VFD use the HD44780 chipset or ??

Hello and welcome to the forum. VFD displays are blue in a sense. The lettering glows blue. Our VFD displays are serial and they use our own protocal, not a HD44780. There is a number of programs that will displays CPU and information, check out our cool uses section here...

You can make a VFD look even more blue by dropping a filter in front - Either one of the blue glass MO ones, or like I did, a peice of blue lighting gel sheet (the stuff they put in front of disco lights).

Just order everything you want, and right before you are asked to finish the payment, it gives you as total + shipping... then use a currency converter here...

I Only had 2 options in shipping it vas UPS Express and FedEx Priority.
How is the payment procedure ?
Do i pay via a card number or by mail ??

I wonder if its possible to attach a probe to the VFD and then the VFD show the temperature ???
If not, whats my options ??
Becouse I whant the VFD to show my water Temperature =)
