Hello:
Does anyone knows what may cause the resistance between the SCL and ground (i2c connector) to be less than 3 ohms (with device completed disconnected; no power no i2C connection)?
It happened to 2 of 3 GLK12232A-25-SM displays that were connected simultaneously to an Arduino Mega 2560. Cable lengths are 8, 15, and 12' feet for each of the three.
Thanks in advance.
GLK12232A-25-SM-GW-VS i2c SCL to Ground < 3 ohms

Hello,
Thank you for posting on the forum.
SCL/SDA lines on the GLK12232A-25-SM-GW-VS, although configurable for use as I2C pins, has this mention on the datasheet: "this is not an I2C-bus compliant open-drain pin". Is it possible that you may have connected the SCL lines to either GND or power during run time (without going through pull-up/pull-down's)? This may have caused to damage the SCL line.
Thank you,
Raquel
