Hello i recently got my LK204-25-wb only to find out there is no software out there that i am aware of that can use the keypad port on the MO?

My intention was to make a mp3 car player, but i want the least amount of wires... so i figured i would use the LK204-25-wb with Markus Zehnder winamp plugin on win98, the display works fine but ther is no option for using the keyad port or serial port for input?

If i am wrong (i hope so ) please let me know or if there is another software out there to do the same also let me know ... thanks....

give LCDC or LCD Smartie a try...

Ya i tried LCDC , very nice... but limited in what it can do... with respect to winamp that is.... mind you its simple to setup.. I just can not do playlists or go directly to a song still have to ff or rew to go to what i want... unless i am missing something, i will loo at lcd smartie today...

I have founf Cajun which is not bad.... a littel complicated to install but has many features and hacks....

But so far no "goto song" feature....
but will work with any lcd kaypad that lcdproc supports...

Good to hear.. I have yet to try Cajun or LCDproc...
