I wonder if one could connect up a palm , an older model or the cheaper m10X series, and use that to control what winamp does or what cajun does or whatever app...

Well, there's a thing called Palmorb that intends to emulate a matrix orbital LCD on a PalmOS device. But I've never gotten it to work.

there is such a program, it's called palmamp. i think you can get it off of palmgear.com. it has all the play buttons, a playlist screen, and eq screen, and more i think. i used it on my m100 through com1, worked pretty good
