Piggyback connector for keypad

My LK204-25 has a 10 pin, single row header which represents a 5x5 matrix used for inputs. I plan on using a 4x4 keypad which plugs in nicely to the middle 8 pins. But suppose I want to use the other 9 remaining keypress combinations for other inputs. What is a neat way to piggyback onto the header?

My plans were to wire the other inputs into a 1x10 header socket, if I could find a way to plug both it and the keypad connector in at the same time. Does anyone know of a piggyback connector, splitter, bus cable, etc. approach that I could use? I'm looking for a easy and elegant solution since my project is going to require many similar installations (10).

Thanks.

well, parallel is not a problem since you just short a row and a colummn pin when you press a key.

So, how about using stripboard? just bring as many 1x10 headers as you want back to a stripboard as an easy way to parallel several 1x10 headers. Neat, cheap, and easy.
