I can't seem to find uproject.exe on my cd. I have eCD 3.0. Is this file available for download? I will also try to get it working on another pc.

Yes, I see "Matrix Orbital MX2/MX3/MX6 USB Driver" under "Universal Serial Bus controllers." Windows seems to think the device is working properly.

I was concerned because the sheet labeled "Important: Read this page first" that was included in the box states "Do not under any circumstances use an unmodified floppy drive power cable." The manual however, said to use an unmodified cable.

Can the VK204-24-USB get power for the display from the usb cable or does it need an additional power connection? If it does need additional power, does it need the modified or standard floppy cable? The docs weren't very clear on this.
