Post by RedPhoenix »

I was going to get a temp probe for my MX213...

How would I mount it for CPU temp. It doenst look like it will fit under the Heatsink or under the cpu

Is there any alternatives?

I made my own because of that exact reason. You can use kynar near the end of the probe which is thin enough to get under the cpu and zif socket. I could make some and send them to ya if you want i have loads of mate connectors left. Ill take some pics and post them tomorrow.

you'll need a solder gun and some heat shrink, try www.newark.com (in the US) for the mate part for the MX2 series one wire headers the part number is in the manual, i cant remember it off the top of my head.
